First Night of Ch-ch-ch-changes

We had our first public performance this evening after yesterday night's dress. Things went very well considering - there was an impromptu party in a nearby space by the graduating students of the Art Therapy course. They kindly agreed to quiet down for the 45 minutes of our performance, but it was a bit of a shock to find there was going to be a party in what had previously been a completely deserted space. This meant lots of extra people wandering in and watching/joining in. However, we got through it with only a few problems - one of which was me failing to find the C on the accordion. Another that we had completely failed to close up the space we were temporarily using as a dressing room and even left the mirror outside.

Anyway, this is a picture of the sun through a window with water drops on it taken with a 50mm macro wide open. Just for fun. Pictures and video of the actual show to follow soon!

  1. Fantastic first night of Ch-ch-ch-changes. The costume was detailed and entertaining, the characters were larger than life and the theme of a colony for underwater creatures drew parallels for the characters choices with the ridiculous nature of our government today. Bob could definitely have been a Trinidadian Boris.
