Plutus in Epidaurus Theatre

Plutus at Epidaurus

On the penultimate day of the ancient Greek drama summer school we went to see a performance of Aristphanes' Plutus in the theatre at Epidaurus. It was directed by the composer Dionysis Savvopoulos, and while it wasn't at all innovative (and the director's own narcissistic appearances were embarrassingly awful), it was a fantastic experience to see and hear a large chorus with musicians performing in that space.
