We took a taxi to the institute in order to move all the Kantor props for today’s performance. Those intending to do the Vakhtangov workshop (as well as myself in order to speak to the taxi driver in poor Polish and get a receipt) went in early to move things out of the space in order to fix them for the performance (the Vakhtangov workshop people have the morning off).
I joined the Teatr Zar workshop, which involved vocal, choral singing and rhythm work. I’ll write about it in more detail later.
After that we began setting up for the performance, and had a quick lunch. The performance was at 5, preceded by a short talk about Rose Bruford given by Alexia and Michael Earley.
The performance seemed to go very well - we got all the necessary things and it all worked in the space. Sadly we made a bit of a mess of the floor… we’ve done our best though.
After the performance, we missed the salad for the most part, and took taxis back to the hostel, Andrzej and Teresa helping by driving the objects over.
We then went out for some food in a Spanish restaurant, and then went for a drink.
